First Five Magazine is an independent lifestyle magazine dedicated to the first five years of love, marriage and parenting. 2. Eligibility
By using the Site or submitting content, you confirm that:

- You have full legal authority to submit content and grant the rights described in these Terms

3. Submissions and Contributed Content

You retain full ownership of your original Content unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.2 License Grant
By submitting Content to First Five Magazine, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual, and irrevocable license to publish, reproduce, display, distribute, archive, edit, adapt, crop, resize, and format the Content, and to use the Content across our website, social media platforms, newsletters, digital publications, press materials, and promotional campaigns.
This license remains valid even if your Content is later removed or your contributor relationship ends.
3.3 Moral Rights
To the extent permitted under Nigerian law and applicable international laws, you waive any moral rights that would prevent First Five Magazine from using, editing, or adapting the Content, while we endeavour to preserve the integrity and creative intent of the work.
4. Editorial Discretion
First Five Magazine reserves the sole and absolute right to:
- Accept or reject any submission
- Edit Content for clarity, length, style, grammar, formatting, or editorial consistency
- Determine publication timing, placement, and context
- Remove published Content at any time, with or without notice
Submission does not guarantee publication.
5. Columnists and Regular Contributors
5.1 Independent Status
All contributors participate as independent contractors. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship.
5.2 Compensation
Unless explicitly agreed in writing:
- Contributions are voluntary and unpaid
- No royalties, appearance fees, or profit participation are owed
